KHTT known as 106.9 K-HITS with a frequency of 106.9 MHz is a Top 40 Mainstream (CHR) radio station serving the Tulsa, Oklahoma, area of the USA. The Journal Communications outlet broadcasts at 106.9 MHz with an ERP of 100 kW and is licensed to Muskogee, Oklahoma. KHTT was originally KMMM, and it was also known as “K-Triple M” (the three Ms in its call letters, which also stood for “Muskogee’s Music Machine”) and at times it was called “K-107.”
KGOU
Norman, OK
KGOU was originally licensed as a commercial rock music station to the University of Oklahoma in 1970, broadcasting at 106.3 FM. OU applied for a non-commercial Class A license and switched the station’s format to NPR news and talk on New Year’s Day, 1983. Today, KGOU is one of two stations serving the Oklahoma City area with NPR programming.

The station began broadcasting in 1976 with the call letters KAEZ (“Eazy 107”) and was a Black formatted station with a mix of urban contemporary, soul, jazz and blues. The callsign was changed to KIMY (“My 107.7”) and played adult contemporary until August 1987 when it switched to classic rock as KRXO.

KTBT’s format history includes Freeform Rock radio in the early 1970s as KTBA, Country as KGOW in the late 1970s and Adult Contemporary as “Sunny 92” KSNY. It switched formats to Top 40 as KELI-FM in the early 1980s.
