Always amazes me how quickly the months fly by. Originally we had planned to donate a little differently but due to the horrible damages done to Oklahoma and Missouri we will be taking clothing, food, and household necessities to them directly.
On a plus side we found out about a wonderful program for donating unneeded and expired coupons to overseas military families! In amazingly short notice our contributors rallied together and managed to sort and tally over $1,300 worth of coupons that we sent to military families who no doubt desperately need them.
It makes you feel good to be able to help others and I know the alacrity to which all the girls jumped to the challenge warmed my heart. Though this was our first month with this program I think that was a nice and sizeable donation and I look forward to more in the future.
