If you love cheese and you’re crazy over pizza equally, then this four cheese pizza recipe is perfect for you! Why cheese, you ask? And why four of them? Why not?! Here in America Top 10 we come up with the craziest ideas and you know what? A lot of people seem to like it. However, this recipe may not be an exact product of that craziness (it was sent in by a reader) but who cares? We’re spontaneous enough to give it a try so enough blah blah and let’s have a taste of this four cheese pizza!
The Ingredients
- Two 14-inch rolled out circles of our homemade pizza dough (See recipe here)
- 1 pound of shredded mozzarella
- 6 ounces Monterey Jack, shredded
- 6 ounces Asiago, shredded
- 3 ounces Pecorino Romano, grated
- Extra-virgin olive oil
How to Prepare:
First, preheat the oven to 550 degrees F. Then, stretch the pizza dough and fit it into 2 pizza pans. Combine the mozzarella, Monterey Jack, and Asiago cheeses in a bowl. Evenly distribute the cheese mixture over the crusts. Top the pizza with the Pecorino and drizzle with olive oil. Bake in preheated oven until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, about 10 minutes. Serve immediately and top with hot sauce if necessary. Enjoy!
