Benefits to Brow Threading

June 9, 2019 By Elizabeth Leave a Comment

Wondering if brow threading is better than waxing or tweezing?

It turns out I had a lot of misconceptions about brow threading. Maybe you do too? My main misconception was that the hair would be being cut off at the surface. Know how you use a piece of twine to cut through dough? I thought you did it like that. Turns out, that isn’t how they do it at all! Rather the string they use catches the individual hairs and pulls them out.

Safer

The biggest thing about brow threading is that it is safer! It really is, because no chemicals are applied to your skin, which wax can be full of! Things like carcinogenic chemicals, dyes, perfumes, parabens, all depending on the wax used.

Did you know wax could be contaminated by coming in contact with other people? You should definitely be worried about that, depending on the salon practices! It is recommended by most dermatologists.

Faster

You might be surprised to learn a practiced brow threader can have your brows done in as little as 3-7 minutes! Isn’t that amazing? Therefore, it tends to be a lot faster than any other method.

Long Lasting

Each hair is caught and pulled out by it’s root. Which means it takes a while to grow back. Also, they say because of the way it is done it does not lead to ingrown hairs like waxing and tweezing can.

More Precise

With brow threading the beautician can be immensely precise. They can get peach fuzz or stubble that other methods miss. Looking at photos online you cannot deny the results!

I haven’t had my brows threaded. However, I plan to and when I do I will make sure to report my experience. You should give brow threading a try. However, make sure you like the person who will be doing it. You have to trust the person, that is always vital. Love your look. Make sure they listen to you. That will ensure you get the results you are after!
