Matthew Simmons, D.D.S.

Dr. Simmons, received his doctorate in dentistry at the University of Maryland Dental School. After completing a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he served a one year internship in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Satisfying his special interest in the field of anesthesiology, he was accepted into and completed a one year fellowship in anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He then completed a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Simmons practices a full range of oral and maxillofacial procedures with special interests in the fields of dental implants, corrective jaw surgery, and pediatric oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Simmons is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has resided in Erie since August 2001.
