Ashlar is an upscale tavern inspired by those that enlivened Alexandria two hundred years ago, re-imagined with 21st-century sensibilities. They like to think America’s early colonists would feel right at home relaxing into a tufted leather wing chair in the Ashlar bar while sipping a sherry cocktail fireside, or cutting into a perfectly grilled rib-eye or mid-Atlantic inspired fare at the end of a long day.
