Brett Katzen M.D., F.A.C.S

Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1993, Dr. Katzen serves as a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is specialty board certified in cataract surgery by The American Board of Eye Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Katzen is a leading force in laser vision correction. As a dedicated surgeon, he is devoted to the treatment of nearsightedness and farsightedness. He has been acknowledged for achievements in developing a specialized surgical instrument called the “Katzen Flap Unzipper,” commonly used with LASIK procedures throughout the United States.
