Shameza Boyd, MD FAAP

Dr. Boyd is a native of Birmingham, AL. She completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA. She served as Chief Resident during her final year. Dr. Boyd began her Pediatric career in Mobile, Alabama working in a community health center in an underserved area where she was eventually named Chief of Pediatrics. Dr. Boyd is a board certified Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of several medical societies and organizations including: American Academy of Pediatrics–AL Chapter, MASA, Jefferson County Medical Society, Mineral District Medical Society and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
