Emilio Melchionna, M.D.

Dr. Melchionna is dedicated to the practice of general neurology, serving the Pioneer Valley throughout his career since 1994. His special interests include gait disorders, peripheral neuropathy, stroke, multiple sclerosis and movement disorders. He holds board certification in Internal Medicine, Neurology and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
He has a special interest in Gait Disorders and Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus. Since 1994 he has been administering botulinum toxin for neurological disorders including chronic migraine, dystonia, blepharospasm, and spasticity. He offers expert diagnostic testing in neuromuscular conditions. Including electromyography, nerve conduct study, evoked response, skin biopsy for small fiber neuropathy and lumbar puncture.
