Matthew Moser Hastings, MD
Dr. Hastings’ clinical interests include caring for patients with a range of neurological conditions with an emphasis on neuromuscular disorders including myopathies, peripheral neuropathies, motor neuron diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease), and disorders of neuromuscular transmission such as myasthenia gravis. Dr. Hastings also has an interest in the use of clinical neurophysiologic techniques in intraoperative monitoring and works closely with the surgeons of Saint Luke’s to provide high quality monitoring of nervous system structures during cardiac, orthopedic, and neurosurgical procedures. He participates in the Saint Luke’s Spine Center with colleagues from Neurosurgery, Pain Management, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
