WERC-HD2 went on the air in June 2011 with a black gospel format, branded as “Hallelujah 105.1”, relayed on FM translator W286BK 105.1 FM.

WBPT (106.9 FM, “106-9 The Eagle”) is a classic hits music-formatted radio station licensed to Homewood, Alabama, that serves the Birmingham and central Alabama area. The station was assigned the WBPT call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on October 17, 2001. Since October 2005, it has used the branding “106.9 the Eagle”. The station is owned by Cox Radio, along with six other stations in the cluster. Its transmitter is located atop Red Mountain in Birmingham.

WQEN (103.7 FM, “103-7 the Q”) is a radio station licensed to serve Trussville, Alabama, USA. The station is owned by Clear Channel Communications. It broadcasts a Top 40 music format to Birmingham and north-central Alabama.

610 Wagg

Birmingham, AL

WAGG (610 AM) is a radio station licensed to Birmingham, Alabama. It broadcasts at a daytime power 5,000 watts, and at nighttime, it broadcasts at 1,000 watts. WAGG is a gospel music station that targets Birmingham’s African-American population. It is owned by Cox Radio, which also owns six other stations in the market. The station was assigned the WAGG call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on January 15, 1999.

WBHK (98.7 FM, “98.7 Kiss FM”) is an urban adult contemporary music formatted radio station owned by Cox Broadcasting that serves Birmingham, Alabama. It is currently ranked by the Arbitron rating system as the nation’s highest rated urban adult contemporary station. 98.7 Kiss FM is licensed to Warrior and broadcasts on the 98.7 Megahertz (MHz) frequency at effective radiated power of 39 kilowatts (kW) from atop of Red Mountain. It is owned by Cox Radio Holdings along with six other stations.

102.5 The Bull

Birmingham, AL

WDXB (102.5 FM, “102.5 the Bull”) is a Clear Channel Communications-owned country music formatted radio station licensed to Pelham, Alabama, that serves Birmingham and north-central Alabama. Syndicated programming includes After Midnite with Blair Garner hosted by Blair Garner from Premiere Radio Networks.

90.3 WBHM

Birmingham, AL

WBHM (90.3 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a News Talk Information format during the daytime and mostly classical music overnight. WBHM features programing from American Public Media, National Public Radio and Public Radio International. On a sub-carrier channel, WBHM operates the Alabama Radio Reading Service, which broadcasts readings from the Birmingham News and popular magazines for blind and visually impaired residents of the Birmingham area

WZZK

Birmingham, AL

WZZK-FM (104.7 FM) is a country music formatted radio station licensed to Birmingham that serves northern and central Alabama. As of January 3, 2007, WZZK-FM is the flagship station of the Rick and Bubba radio network. It was the first FM station in Birmingham to switch to country music, and throughout much of the 1980s and 1990s was the top-rated radio station in Birmingham. The station is owned by Cox Radio alongside six other stations. Its transmitter is located atop Red Mountain in Birmingham.
