Complimentary photos after each experience provide you with a lasting memory.

Havasu National Wildlife Refuge

Topock, AZ

Havasu National Wildlife Refuge, originally named Havasu Lake National Wildlife Refuge, was established by Executive Order by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1941 for the primary purpose of providing migratory bird habitat. The refuge is comprised of 37,515 acres along the lower Colorado river in Arizona and California. The refuge protects 30 river miles and encompasses 300 miles of shoreline from Needles, California, to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. A great river in a dry, hot land attracts wildlife and people like a powerful magnet. Today, thousands of visitors annually flock to the refuge to boat through the spectacular Topock Gorge, to fish in Topock Marsh, or to hike in the Havasu Wilderness Area.

Sara Mountain Park Loop Trail

Sara Park Trails are located on the south side of Lake Havasu City. There are over 50+ miles of trails that are available for hiking, mountain biking, equestrian, dog walking, trekking, exploring, bird watching, orienteering, running, navigation and climbing.

Lake Havasu State Park

The scenic shoreline of Lake Havasu State Park is an ideal place to enjoy beautiful beaches, nature trails, boat ramps, and convenient campsites. This spot is truly a watersport haven located near the famous London Bridge of Lake Havasu City. The park offers three boat ramps, 47 campsites, a special events area (not available on holiday weekends), picnic area, and beach area. The Mohave Sunset Trail (1.75 miles) winds its way through the lowland desert and along the shoreline. The Arroyo-Camino Interpretive Garden showcases the diverse life that exists within the park and this area of the desert. Birds, lizards, and desert cottontails are common sights.

Rotary Community Park & Playground

Lake Havasu City, AZ

Rotary Community Park is centrally located and well visited by both locals and visitors. With its lush green grass, tree shaded walkways, and safe buoyed-in swim area, the park provides a nice getaway to wind down and relax. Accessible by boat or car, the park is the perfect place for a picnic. There are 16 picnic areas equipped with a shade canopy, barbecue, picnic table, and an amazing view of Lake Havasu. Get in on a little beach volleyball action at one of the six volleyball courts for some friendly competition. You may also want to try your hand at bocce ball on one of the two beachfront courts. Both the volleyball and bocce ball courts are first-come, first-served. For the kids, there are three playgrounds for different age levels; one is reserved for special needs children and the other two are reserved mainly for children ages 4 and up.

London Bridge Beach

Lake Havasu City, AZ

The Lake Havasu City Visitor Center conducts a 90-minute walking tour of the London Bridge. Arizona tourists can see the strafing scars from WWII that mar the bridge’s granite surface and stroll over sparkling Bridgewater Channel. The bridge is also a popular hangout for the Arizona boating crowd. You’ll see all kinds of boats anchored in the shadow of this piece of history and icon among Arizona attractions.
