Sometimes your favorite station changes and what used to be a couple of minutes of commercials once an hour has become a couple of minutes of music once an hour! Or maybe you are new to Colorado, just visiting the area, or possibly just need a change. You have come to the right place.

KTLF 90.5 FM

Colorado Springs, CO

KTLF (90.5 FM) is a radio station broadcasting a Contemporary Inspirational format. Licensed to Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, it serves the Colorado Springs area. The station is currently owned by Educational Communications Of Colorado Springs, Inc. In addition to the main station, KTLF is carried on an additional 14 stations and 21 translators to widen its broadcast area.

CAT Country 95.1

Colorado Springs, CO

KATC-FM is a radio station in Colorado Springs, Colorado, broadcasting at 95.1 FM. The station has been broadcasting a Country music format since July 2006. Its on air moniker is Cat Country 95.1, and is owned and operated by Cumulus Media. Originally, the station was locally owned by Harry Hoth’s Pikes Peak Broadcasting Company under the call letters KRDO-FM. The station signed on in the late 1960s broadcasting an easy listening/beautiful music format.

KOSI 101

Denver, CO

KOSI is a commercial radio station located in Denver, Colorado, broadcasting on 101.1 FM. KOSI airs a soft adult contemporary music format branded as “KOSI 101”. As of 2011, airplay extensively uses radio edit versions of songs; usually 2-3 min of length, and emphasizing the refrain. KOSI-FM signed on in 1968 airing an easy listening/beautiful music format. At the time, it was paired with KOSI 1430 AM.

98.1 KKFM

Colorado Springs, CO

KKFM is a radio station out of Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado. It plays a classic rock format on 98.1 FM and is under ownership of Cumulus Media. KKFM originally broadcast at 96.5 FM. It switched to 98.1 in 1994, allowing two new stations to sign on: KBIQ (now KIBT) 96.1 in Colorado Springs, and KXPK 96.5 in Denver. The station features Mornings with The Bob & Tom Show and Alice Cooper Saturday Nights.
KKFM is now the Classic Rock leader in Colorado Springs, after former competitor KYZX transtioned out of its Classic Rock format to Alternative from 2008 till 2009.

92.9 Peak FM

Colorado Springs, CO

KKPK (92.9 FM) is an adult contemporary-formatted radio station licensed to Colorado Springs, Colorado. The station serves the Colorado Springs and Pueblo metropolitan areas, as well as surrounding areas. Its playlist consists of hits songs from the 1970s, ’80s, ’90s and up the present day. Also in rotation are several cover songs that were featured on the hit TV series Glee, including the Cee Lo Green hit “Forget You” that featured Gwyneth Paltrow on lead vocals. As with many adult contemporary formats, the cycling of the music is very repetitive, approaching the frequency of the Top 40 formats of the 1960s and 1970s.

KKMG

Pueblo, CO

KKMG (98.9 FM, 98.9 Magic FM), is a heritage Top 40 (CHR) radio station located in the Colorado Springs-Pueblo-Denver radio market. The Cumulus Media outlet is licensed to Pueblo.

Alice 105.9

Denver, CO

KALC (105.9 FM, “Alice 105.9”) is a commercial radio station located in Denver, Colorado, USA. KALC airs an Adult Top 40 music format branded as “Alice 105.9”. KALC came on the air with a Top 40/Pop Alternative format, branded as “Alice 106”. This was the first of many Alice-branded radio stations. Alice was the brain child of Frank Wood, Chuck Finney and Gregg Cassidy.

KBCO 97.3 FM

Denver, CO

KBCO (97.3 FM) is a AAA radio station licensed to Boulder, Colorado[citation needed], United States, that serves the Denver-Boulder area. The station’s format, dubbed “World Class Rock,” is an eclectic variety of pop, rock, blues, reggae and folk, from the late-1960s to the present. The Clear Channel Communications outlet broadcasts with an effective radiated power of 100 kW. KBCO’s studios are no longer located in Boulder. They now broadcast out of the Clear Channel broadcast facility in south Denver. The transmitter is located southwest of Eldorado Springs, Colorado, at the top of Eldorado Mountain at an elevation of 8,400 feet above sea level, or 469 meters above average terrain.

106.7 KBPI

Denver, CO

KBPI (106.7 FM) is an active rock radio station based in Denver, Colorado. The Clear Channel Communications outlet broadcasts with an effective radiated power of 100 kW and has a transmitter in Boulder, Colorado. KBPI is one of four Rock formatted outlets in Clear Channel’s Denver cluster, which includes Adult Album Alternative KBCO, Classic rock KRFX, and Modern Rock KTCL.

94.3 KILO

Colorado Springs, CO

KILO is a radio station broadcasting in Colorado Springs and Pueblo, Colorado. It also streams online at its website. KILO features a current active rock format. The station is known for playing new bands well before many other stations will add them to their playlist and is usually one of the higher rated stations in Colorado Springs, always in the top five. Rich Hawk, who programmed the station for 27 years is widely considered one of the “fathers of active rock”.
