As a Colorado native, Dr. Hale attended University of Oklahoma for her Doctorate of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees. Dr. Hale remained in Oklahoma City for her internship in internal medicine and neurology residency at the OUHSC College of Medicine. Her return to Denver is highlighted by the decision to practice with Blue Sky Neurology. Dr. Hale has a great amount of research experience, such as substance abuse as a risk factor for multiple sclerosis and acupuncture for cancer care. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and has experience working in Mental Health.

Mihaela Alexander, MD

Littleton, CO

Dr. Alexander is the President and Founder of Colorado Neurodiagnostics. She established a General Neurology clinic in February 2007 on the campus of Littleton Adventist Hospital. For the past 8 years, she has developed a Movement Disorder Program with an emphasis on Parkinson’s disease, tremors treatment and DBS (deep brain stimulation) therapy. Her outpatient practice includes General Neurology, Movement Disorders/DBS therapy clinic, Spasticity Clinic including intrathecal baclofen pump therapy (ITB), Botox Clinic for the treatment of focal spasticity and dystonia in children and adults and the treatment of pain conditions including chronic migraines. Dr. Alexander is Board Certified in Vascular Neurology. She is an active member of American Heart Association/American Stroke association and World Stroke Organization.

Richard C. Gamuac, MD

Pueblo, CO

Dr. Gamuac is board certified in Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology. After completing his education from the University of the Philippines, Dr. Gamuac completed a Comprehensive Epilepsy Management Fellowship at NYU Medical Center. He also received additional training in pediatrics at the New York Methodist Hospital and a Pediatric Neurology Fellowship at North Shore University Hospital in Long Island, NY. Dr. Gamuac is one of the few neurologists in Southern Colorado specially trained to manage deep brain stimulation in essential tremor and Parkinson’s patients, and provide vagal nerve stimulation for control and treatment of seizures and epilepsy.

Kirsten Bracht, M.D.

Englewood, CO

Dr. Bracht received her medical degree from the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She remained in Los Angeles for internship, neurology residency and fellowship. During her Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship, she gained expertise in epilepsy as well as EEG/EMG, and she subsequently pursued additional subspecialty certification in sleep medicine. Since moving to Colorado, she has continued to serve as Co-Medical Director of the CNI Epilepsy Center and participated in clinical epilepsy research. More recently, she also assumed a position as Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Swedish Medical Center. Dr. Bracht embraces her European heritage and enjoys trying to speak Danish, Spanish, French and German.

Dr. Justin S. Moon

Denver, CO

Dr. Moon most recently comes from the world-renown Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota where he completed an accredited fellowship in Headache and Facial Pain and is a certified expert in head pain. He completed his internship and residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin (Marquette School of Medicine). He is board certified in Neurology and sees general neurology patients and subspecialty referrals for headache and facial pain. Dr. Moon offers Botox therapy and peripheral nerve blocks for pain. Dr. Moon is a member of Denver Medical Society’s Board of Directors and is a consultant physician to professional sports teams and University of Denver NCAA teams.

Jerry D. Nash, MD, FAAN

Fort Collins, CO

Dr. Nash graduated from University of Texas at Austin with a BA degree. He continued on in his education with a Doctor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He then completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship of Internal Medicine, University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. He completed his Neurology Residency at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas. Today, Dr. Nash enjoys practicing the full spectrum of general neurology for adult patients. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, previous member of the American Society of Neuroimaging, and Harris County Medical Society. He is licensed in Neurology with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is an elected fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. Dr. Nash has participated in neurological research for many years.

Allen C. Bowling, MD, PhD

Englewood, CO

Dr. Bowling, is an internationally recognized neurologist with over three decades of clinical and research experience. He has devoted his career to developing and providing rigorous, comprehensive, and compassionate care to those with MS. Dr. Bowling has more than 100 lay and professional publications, including five books on MS.  He has provided consultation or authored publications for many MS and neurological organizations, including the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), the National MS Society (NMSS), and the MS International Federation (MSIF). Dr. Bowling is a summa cum laude graduate of Yale, where he also obtained his MD and PhD degrees. He completed his neurology residency training at the University of California-San Francisco and his fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital-Harvard Medical School. He was the Medical Director of the Rocky Mountain MS Center from 2003-2007.
