They invite you to learn about Vizcaya’s fascinating history and the individuals responsible for the unusual estate’s origins, evolution and ongoing management.

Miami Seaquarium

Matheson Hammock Park

Coral Gables, FL

Matheson Beach is great for beginners, or those who simply enjoy a peaceful practice session. Matheson Hammock Park is a lovely scenic park with an unusual feature, a man-made atoll pool, which is flushed naturally with the tidal action of nearby Biscayne Bay. Its tranquil breeze-swept beach is a haven for families who enjoy its warm, safe waters and beautiful waterside views.  Matheson is also a prime spot for Kite-Boarding. Its active breezes and calm shallow waters make launching easy. The park also has a full-service marina, snack bar and restaurant built into an historic coral rock building, picnic pavilions and nature trails. Matheson also contains a sailing and power boat school.

Bayfront Park

Miami, FL

Redesigned in the early 1980’s by Isamu Noguchi*, Bayfront Park is a 32-acre site located in the epicenter of downtown Miami on Biscayne Bay. It is bounded on the north by Bayside Marketplace (an open-air festival style mall that attracts 23 million people per year), on the south by InterContinental Hotel, and on the west by Biscayne Boulevard (downtown Miami’s “main street”). Bayfront Park’s 32 acres of lush greenery includes a small sand beach, tropical rock garden and waterfall (dating back to 1926), playground, fountain, Light Tower, and many different monuments**.

Coral Castle Museum

Nestled between the Florida Keys and Miami is an astounding monument to one man’s determination. Often referred to as America’s Stonehenge, Coral Castle has baffled scientists, engineers and scholars since its opening in 1923.

The Ernest Hemmingway Home & Museum

Key West, FL

The Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum is recognized for being home to one of America’s most honored and respected authors. The museum allows visitors to see the rooms and gardens that were there at the most prolific period of Ernest Hemingway’s writing career.

Miami Children’s Museum

Jungle Island
