Top Music Stations in Florida

You have a blast listening to music, while working, working out, and driving in your car. Sometimes though, you have troubles finding a music station that fits you. Sometimes your favorite station changes and what used to be a couple of minutes of commercials once an hour has become a couple of minutes of music once an hour! Or maybe you are new to Florida, just visiting the area, or possibly just need a change. You have come to the right place.

96.9 The Eagle

Jacksonville, FL

WJGL (96.9 MHz “96.9 The Eagle”) is a commercial FM radio station in Jacksonville. The station is owned by Cox Radio, a division of the Cox Media Group. WJGL airs a classic hits radio format that leans to classic rock. The station primarily plays rock songs from the 1970’s, 80’s and some 90’s, but not artists such as Michael Jackson or Madonna who had mostly pop and dance hits.

X101.5

Tallahassee, FL

X101.5 is well-known to the locals as Tallahassee’s Rock Station. This station is also home of the popular Lex and Terry in the morning programming. Hard Drive with Lou Brutus also airs in X101.5.

WSRF

North Miami Beach, FL

WSRF (1580 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a full-service/brokered format primarily in Haitian Creole and French. Licensed to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States, the station serves the Miami area. The station is owned by Niche Radio, Inc.

89.9 Jazz

Orlando, FL

89.9 Jazz is a listener supported station of the University of Central Florida. This music station broadcasts a 24-hour schedule of jazz music, live on-air performances, and other non-commercial programming.

Hot 104.9

Tallahassee, FL

Hot 104.9 is known in Tallahassee as the All New, All Hit, Today’s Hit Music Station. Hot 104.9’s playlist currently includes songs from P!nk, Akon, Britney Spears, Kanye West, Rihanna, Katy Perry, and Lady GaGa.

101.5 Lite FM

Miami, FL

101.5 Lite FM has been on air since 1948 and is known to be playing songs that are designed for your day. Also, 101.5 is well-known for offering listeners LITE music and interesting conversation all day.

Newsradio 1320AM

Sarasota, FL

WDDV (1320 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station broadcasting a talk and business news radio format. Licensed to Venice, Florida, United States, the station serves the Sarasota metropolitan area. WDDV is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc. and calls itself “News Radio 1320 AM.”

WFSU

Tallahassee, FL

WFSU Public Media’s radio stations include two news and information-based stations and one 24-hour classical music station (with a repeater in Thomasville, GA), providing the region with trusted news and reliable entertainment.

Faith Radio

4015 N Monroe St, FL

Faith Radio can be heard 24 hours a day over 90.1 FM Quincy, 105.7 FM Monticello, 104.5 FM Eastpoint, 91.3 FM Lake City, 91.3 Moultrie, GA, streaming over website www.FaithRadio.us, and as well over the Tune-In app.  In addition, Faith Radio in Spanish is heard over our daytime station, 1070 AM Tallahassee by the schedule below.  Faith Radio serves Tallahassee and eastward and outlying areas of the Big Bend, South Georgia, and parts of South Alabama.

93.9 MIA

Miramar, FL

WMIA-FM is a Rhythmic AC radio station that is licensed to Miami Beach, Florida. It broadcasts on 93.9 MHz with an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts. Its studios are located in Miramar and the transmitter site is in Miami Gardens.
