Dr. George, received her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN in 1994. She then received her M.D. at Indiana University in 1989. She went on to complete a Neurology Residency, followed by a Fellowship in EMG and Neuromuscular Disease at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. She has worked at JWM Neurology since the completion of her training in 1996.

Thomas M. Banas, M.D., M.S.

Dr. Banas received a Master of Biomedical Engineering degree from Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, and then pursued his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Dr. Banas specializes in neurology with extensive experience in stroke, epilepsy, neuro rehabilitation with special interest in spasticity and movement disorders. Dr. Banas is the Director of Research at Fort Wayne Neurological Center.

Marlene C. Bultemeyer, M.D.

Fort Wayne, IN

Dr. Bultemeyer is board certified in Neurology and Epilepsy. She received her M.D. from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. She continued at the I.U. Medical Center to complete her general Neurology Residency and additional professional training, completing a Fellowship in Neurophysiology as well. Through the Fellowship she received advanced training in Epilepsy and associated EEG testing protocols. Dr. Bultemeyer is an Assistant Professor for IUSM and serves as the director of the Neurodiagnostics department at Fort Wayne Neurological Center. She also is director of the Neurodiagnostics Department at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne and was instrumental in the department achieving status as the only Accredited EEG lab in the region.

Cynthia K. McGarvey, M.D.

Indianapolis, IN

Dr. McGarvey, completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis, Indiana in 2004. She served a residency in Neurology at Indiana University, Indianapolis, Indiana finishing in 2007. Dr. McGarvey completed a fellowship in Neurophysiology at Indiana University, Indianapolis, Indiana in 2008. Her special interests include Neuromuscular disease, EMG, Spasticity/Dystonia, Neurotoxicology, and Clinical Neurophysiology.

Jennifer M. Vivio, M.D.

Dr. Vivio, was awarded her M.D. at West Virginia University in 1993. She completed her residency in 1997, also at West Virginia University. Dr. Vivio specializes in Adult and Child Neurology and Neurorehabilitation.

Fen Lei Chang, MD

Fort Wayne, IN

Dr. Chang is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He had his residency at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.
