WSGE operates at 91.7 FM and is a non-commercial, public radio station owned and managed by Gaston College, in Dallas, North Carolina. The station’s studio is located in the Craig Arts & Sciences building. Its signal covers 26 North and South Carolina counties with a population of 1.3 million residents. WSGE identifies itself as “Your Eclectic Music Station.” A large portion of its music programming consists of Adult Album Alternative [AAA] formatted music with special emphasis on local, independent musicians and live in-studio performances.
