Dr. Aaron G. Amacher III

Dr. Amacher is board-certified in Ophthalmology and specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of eye diseases. Additionally, he has expertise in no-stitch cataract surgery to include vast experience with laser assisted cataract surgery. He is proficient with the latest lens technologies (toric IOL, multifocal IOL, and the Visian ICL), LASIK/PRK vision correction, and glaucoma laser and surgical implants (iStent). Additionally, Dr. Amacher has been on the cutting edge of treating “over 40” near vision loss, or presbyopia. He was one of the first group of surgeons in the U.S. to be trained in the Kamra corneal inlay, as well as participating in the placement of the Raindrop corneal inlay leading to its FDA approval. Dr. Amacher was also the first surgeon in Nevada to perform the Raindrop corneal inlay procedure.
