Dr. Alexis Shaefer

Dr. Shaefer joined Neurological Associates of Augusta in 2016. She attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia graduating as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. At the University of Alabama at Birmingham Dr. Shaefer completed an internal medical internship, a neurology residency, serving as chief resident her final year, and a neuromuscular medicine fellowship. Dr. Shaefer is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
