Dr. Barbara Swenson McManus

Dr. McManus is a neurologist involved in patient care and also participates in the research of dementia. She is board certified in both neurology and epilepsy, though she has chosen to focus her practice to care for patients with cognitive disorders. She completed her training in Neurology at University of Minnesota, followed by a fellowship in neurophysiology with the Minnesota Epilepsy Group in St. Paul, MN and University of Minnesota neurophysiology division. She practiced general neurology with the University of Pittsburgh and Medical University of South Carolina before choosing to focus her practice on the research, evaluation, and treatment of dementia at Mount Sinai in Miami, FL. She is a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
