Dr. Kishore Chivukula had his Neurology training at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, MI which is tertiary referral center with vast clinical and research facilities. He trained under Prof.K.M.A Welch, an internationally renowned expert in Headaches and Migraine and Stroke research. Further he had his fellowship training in Clinical electrophysiology and Neuromuscular disorders under Prof. Shin J. Oh,at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham, AL, a world renowned teacher and researcher in neuropathies, myopathies and myasthenia gravis. Prior to his Neurology training in US, Dr.Chivukula trained as an Internist and for many years practiced in different countries – India, Iran and Jamaica.
