Dr. Mark Bearman

Dr. Mark Bearman has been practicing ophthalmology since 1989. Dr. Bearman has performed more than ten thousand cataract surgeries. He is an experienced ophthalmologist who also performs state-of-the-art vision correction techniques. Dr. Bearman was one of the first surgeons in Birmingham to begin using the ReSTOR lens, a multifocal lens that minimizes the need for eyeglasses for cataract patients and he was the first surgeons in Alabama to perform cataract surgery using the LENSx.
