Eugene Ramsay, MD

Dr. Ramsay, has recently joined the faculty at Ochsner Health System and is establishing a Comprehensive Epilepsy Center to serve the citizens of Louisiana. Dr. Ramsay is a Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, and member of the American Electroencephalographic Society, the American Epilepsy Society, and the American Neurological Association. From 1988 to 1990, he was president of the Southern Clinical Neurological Society. Dr. Ramsay has trained 28 fellows during time and several are now leading epileptologists at other epilepsy centers. The center is a tertiary academic referral center for the diagnosis and treatment of individuals with difficult to control epilepsy.
