Dr. Viereck is staff neurologist and the Director of the Stroke and Neurologic Restoration Center at Hawaii Pacific Neuroscience. He joined HPN after eight years with New England Neurological Associates in Lowell, Massachusetts where he was a partner and head of the Stroke Division. In addition, he served on the Hospital Oversight Committee and the Executive Council at Lowell General Hospital. Dr. Viereck’s 15 years of clinical experience in the acute treatment of stroke syndromes include the management of patients receiving thrombolysis and intravascular treatments. In addition to his expertise in the clinical and physiological aspects of cerebrovascular disease, Dr. Viereck is strongly focused on helping his patients prevent stroke and stroke re-occurrence through lifestyle and dietary modifications.
