Juan C. Lacayo, M.D.

Dr. Lacayo is a board-certified Neurologist trained in Georgia. Dr. Lacayo earned his MD at Medical College of Georgia. Following medical school, Dr. Lacayo completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. Dr. Lacayo was long intrigued with the complexity of the human brain and nervous system and pursued a Neurology Residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.  For a three year tour, Dr. Lacayo (Major) practiced Neurology in the US Air Force, assigned to the 3rd Wing, Elmendorf AFB, Alaska. He was instrumental in establishing the first Sleep Clinic in the Pacific Air Command.  In July 2011, Dr. Lacayo combined his love for Neurology and his love for the people and state of Georgia and returned home to create Alcovy Neurology, PC featuring up to date neurological expertise and enhanced technological access for patients. Dr. Lacayo seeks to foster a two way relationship with all his patients and to provide personal care.
