Lewis R. Gaskin, MD

In addition to his work with patients at Horizon Eye Care, Dr. Gaskin previously served as team ophthalmologist for the Carolina Panthers as well as the Charlotte Hornets. He has held the position of chief resident of ophthalmology at Emory University, chief of ophthalmology for Carolina Medical Center and Presbyterian Hospital, and president for the N.C. Society to Prevent Blindness. Dr. Gaskin’s specialties include, Complex Cataract Surgery, Laser-Assisted Cataract Surgery, ReSTOR and Toric Intraocular Lens Implants, LASIK/PRK/Refractive Surgery, Intralase Certified LASIK Surgeon and General Ophthalmology.
