Magic 101.1

KAKQ-FM is a commercial adult contemporary music radio station in Fairbanks, Alaska, broadcasting on 101.1 FM. It signed on the air as KAYY-FM in 1981 as Fairbanks’ first commercial FM radio station. Magic 101.1’s programming covers three decades worth of great music: favorite and forgotten hits from the ’80s with “Retro Stars,” a blast from the past with ” ”90s Backtrax USA” and today’s hits with “Rick Dees Weekly Top 40.”
