Melvin Hanzel, D.M.D.

Dr. Hanzel has a DMD from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He completed a 2-year residency in general practice dentistry at The Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn NY.  Dr. Hanzel is a member of The American Dental Association, The Rhode Island Dental Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Academy of General Dentistry. He has extensive training in sedation dentistry and implant dentistry. He also has extensive training in treating medically compromised patients. His hospital training provided him with a strong background in internal medicine, implant dentistry, sedation dentistry, oral surgery, and root canal treatment. Dr. Hanzel also enjoys cosmetic dentistry and placing tooth-colored fillings. (Without mercury or silver).
