Mohamad Haykal, MD

Dr. Haykal, is a board-certified in neurology and epilepsy. After earning his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine in Syria, Dr. Haykal completed his neurology residency at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. His clinical interests include treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy, neurostimulation and epilepsy surgery. He serves as the Medical Director of the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at Spectrum Health Butterworth Hospital.
