Sadat A. Shamim, MD

Dr. Shamim was the medical director of the inpatient neurology service at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas(BUMC) from 2009 to early 2017 which was recognized by US News and World Report. He is now the medical director of Epilepsy, the inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and the Neurophysiology department which is accredited by ABRET and is a member of the National Association of Epilepsy Centers (NAEC). He also helps supervise and coordinate the outpatient neurology clinics at BUMC. Dr. Shamim has interests in epilepsy, stroke, and memory disorders. He sees most general neurological conditions in his outpatient clinic.
