STAR 101.5 has been a fixture in the Northwest for more than a decade. In 1994, they migrated from a “young adult” contemporary station and began to focus primarily on serving women in the Puget Sound area with a Hot Adult Contemporary mix of new hits and familiar 80s and 90s classics. They stage well-known promotions (including the Roller Coaster Wedding, Kent & Alan’s Wiener Dog Races, Speed Dating, Vacations), and are closely involved with causes important to our audience (especially children’s causes and breast cancer awareness).
