Stephen Silvers, D.M.D.
Dr. Stephen Silvers entered dental school at the University of Florida where he earned his D.M.D. degree in 1980. Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Silvers signed up for active duty in the Army Dental Corps where he served four years at Fort Benning, GA. In 1984, he left the U.S. Army and entered private practice in Brandon, FL. After completing two years in private practice, he elected to return to active duty as a dentist in the U.S. Air Force where he attained the rank of full Colonel. In 1994, he completed a rigorous one-year residency in Advanced Clinical Dentistry at Eglin AFB, FL. His military decorations include the Army and Air Force Commendation Medals and four Meritorious Service Medals for distinguished service in the Air Force Dental Corps. In 2003, Colonel Silvers retired from the military and returned to his hometown in Tallahassee where he joined Dr. Murrell in private practice.
