Stephen Slade, M.D.

Dr. Stephen Slade is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and specializes in Presbyopia correction, cataract surgery, LASIK, Implantable Contact Lenses, and refractive surgery. He has authored numerous articles, chapters and textbooks, as well as holds several patents. Dr. Stephen Slade also performed the first LASIK procedure in the United States, and later the first Custom LASIK ablation based on topography in the United states. Over his career he has performed tens of thousands of procedures and has remained on the cutting edge of the field.
