KMDL (97.3 FM, “97.3 The Dawg”) is a country music formatted radio station in Lafayette, Louisiana. The station is an affiliate of the New Orleans Saints radio network. KMDL began broadcasting August 1, 1981 with 3,000 watts at 97.7. An Ibiquity-licensed station, KMDL began broadcasting HD Radio in November 2007. Currently, KMDL does not multicast.

KHXT (107.9 FM, “HOT 107.9”) is a Rhythmic Top 40 serving the Lafayette area. The Townsquare Media outlet broadcasts with an ERP of 97 kW and is licensed to Erath, Louisiana.

94.5 KSMB-FM

Lafayette, LA

KSMB (94.5 FM, “94.5 KSMB”) is a CHR radio station in Lafayette, Louisiana owned by Cumulus Media. KSMB began broadcasting in 1964 as Lafayette’s first FM station. Its call letters stand for Southland Music Broadcasting, the station’s original owner company.

KBON 101.1 FM

Eunice, LA

KBON (101.1 FM) is a radio station broadcasting an Americana format, deeply rooted in the music of south Louisiana, including swamp pop, zydeco, and cajun-French music mixed in with some traditional oldies, country-western, and R&B music. Licensed to Mamou, Louisiana, the station serves rural portions of both the Lafayette and Alexandria radio markets.

KBZE 105.9 FM

Morgan City, LA

KBZE (105.9 FM) is the only Urban radio station located between New Orleans and Baton Rouge and New Orleans and Lafayette. It broadcasts the Tom Joyner Morning Show and the Michael Baisden Show. Although KBZE’s format is Urban Adult Contemporary, the station also broadcasts local programming, including a 15 minute weekday broadcast at 11:30 a.m. by Elder Hebert Andrew, pastor of the Beacon Light Baptist Church of Houma. KBZE is also the home at Noon on Fridays for the Jerome Boykin Show. Boykin is president of the Terrebonne NAACP.

KNEK Magic 104.7

Lafayette, LA

KNEK-FM (104.7 FM, “Magic 104.7”) is a radio station playing an Urban AC format in the Lafayette area. It broadcasts under ownership of Cumulus Media. The station was previously owned by Citadel Broadcasting. In 2007, Citadel transferred 11 of its radio stations (including KNEK-FM) to The Last Bastion Station Trust, LLC upon merger of many ABC Radio stations.

KRVS 88.7 FM
