Seashore Trolley Museum

Kennebunkport, ME

Founded in 1939, the Seashore Trolley Museum has grown into the largest electric railway museum in the world with a collection representing almost every major American city that had a streetcar system. See the beginning of mass transportation from the omnibus to the development of the electric streetcar, and follow the progress to today’s buses, light rail vehicles, and rapid transit cars.

International Cryptozoology Museum

Portland, ME

The International Cryptozoology Museum has as its primary mission to educate, inform, and share cryptozoological evidence, artifacts, replicas, and popular cultural items with the general public, media, students, scholars, and cryptozoologists from around the world. This museum is the result of more than five decades of field research, travel, and dedication to gathering representative materials, native art, footcasts, hair samples, models, and other cryptozoological samples.

Portland Head Light

Cape Elizabeth, ME

Cape Elizabeth is the home of Portland Head Light. Situated along the spectacular shores of Fort Williams Park, at 1000 Shore Road, the popular landmark is owned and managed by the Town of Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The Park is open year round from sunrise to sunset. The Museum at Portland Head Light is contained within the former Keepers’ Quarters. The award winning Museum contains a number of lighthouse lenses and interpretative displays. Also on the site is a seasonal shop featuring fine lighthouse and Maine related gifts.

Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum

Portland, ME

The Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad is dedicated to the preservation and operation of Maine’s two foot gauge railway equipment for the education and enjoyment of the public.
