WNYU is New York University ‘s radio station and is completely operated by NYU students. WNYU’s studios are located in the basement of 5-11 University Pl. in Greenwich Village. WNYU’s transmitter is located at University Heights in the Bronx, the former location of NYU. WNYU broadcasts on 89.1 FM with an effective radiated power of 8,300 watts weekdays from 4:00PM to 1:00AM, and on the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

WFUV

WFUV, 90.7 FM in New York City, is Fordham University’s 47,000-watt effective radiated power non-commercial radio station, with studios on its Bronx campus and its antenna atop nearby Montefiore Medical Center.

WQXR

New York, NY

WQXR-FM (105.9 MHz) is an American classical radio station licensed to Newark, New Jersey, and serving the New York City metropolitan area. It is the most-listened-to classical-music station in the United States, with an average quarter-hour audience of 63,000. On the air since 1939, the station is also one of the oldest continuously operating FM stations in the world.

z100

Z100 is New York’s Hit Music Station featuring hit music radio and Elvis Duran, Ryan Seacrest live from New York City at Z100.com and iHeartRadio. WHTZ (100.3 FM), branded Z100, is a commercial pop/contemporary hit radio (CHR) radio station licensed to Newark, New Jersey serving the New York metropolitan area. The station is currently owned by Clear Channel Communications. The WHTZ transmitter is located on the Empire State Building.

WLTW (106.7 FM, “106.7 Lite FM”) is a radio station with an Adult Contemporary format in New York City. 106.7 Lite fm is New York’s Variety featuring Mainstream AC radio with Bronson and Christine live from NYC at 1067litefm.com and on iHeartRadio.

95.5 WPLJ

WPLJ (95.5 FM) is a radio station in New York City owned by the broadcasting division of Cumulus Media. WPLJ shares studio facilities with sister stations WABC (770 AM) and WNSH

WQHT (97.1 FM, Hot 97) is an American radio station in New York City under the corporate ownership of Emmis Communications. The station broadcasts on 97.1 MHz FM. WQHT. Despite being billed as a Rhythmic CHR station on Mediabase & Nielsen BDS, WQHT primarily plays mainstream urban hits, with a few pop-leaning titles on occasion.

WLIB

WLIB (1190 AM) is an urban contemporary gospel radio station licensed to New York City. WLIB is owned by Emmis Communications, along with sister stations WBLS (107.5 FM) and WQHT (97.1 FM).
