Jean R. Hausheer, MD, FACS

In 1994 Dr. Hausheer certified and began refractive surgery procedures. In 1998 she became Director of Refractive Eye Surgery at UMKC. In 2002 Dr. Hausheer became Partner at Sabates Eye Centers, and Department of Ophthalmology Residency Program Director at UMKC in 2006. Under her leadership as Program Director, the UMKC Dept of Ophthalmology was able to achieve 5 years re-accreditation. Dr. Hausheer is currently President Elect of the Oklahoma State Medical Association, and is in line to take over as president in April 2018.

Ryan P. Conley, D.O.

Ryan P. Conley, D.O. is a board-certified Ophthalmologist. Dr. Conley has established himself on the forefront of advanced cataract surgery and performed Oklahoma’s first LenSx laser-assisted cataract surgery in 2012. He also performs refractive lens implant surgery (ICL, Multifocal and Toric), LASIK, PRK, and various cornea transplant procedures. He continues to be involved in education and currently serves as Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology for Oklahoma State University and is the director of the Ophthalmology Residency Program at Oklahoma State University Medical Center. Dr. Kurtis Weir

Dr. Weir is board certified and a diplomat of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an accomplished speaker and actively participates in many national ophthalmology meetings. Dr. Weir is a member of the Oklahoma County Medical Society, the Oklahoma State Medical Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Weir completed his medical internship at the University of Oklahoma and his residency at the Dean McGee Eye Institute.

Dr. Walter Peters

Dr. Peters, received his Medical Degree from The University of Oklahoma’s School of Medicine where he graduated with the merit of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society for academic excellence. Dr. Peters completed his Internal Medicine Internship at The University of Oklahoma’s School of Medicine, followed by a three-year residency program in ophthalmology at The Dean McGee Eye Institute. David W. Jackson, MD

Dr. Jackson is a 14-year veteran with the Dean McGee Eye Institute (DMEI) and is an expert in LASIK surgery, cataract surgery to correct vision and reduce the need for glasses, and post-LASIK cataract surgery.
