KVOO-FM (98.5 FM) is a country music radio station in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The station picked up the heritage calls and a country music format in 1988. It shared the call letters with a co-owned AM station until it changed to a news/talk format as KFAQ in 2002. The FM station was originally established in the early-1970s as KBJH, a religious radio station founded by evangelist Billy James Hargis.

KMYZ-FM is a commercial radio station located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and licensed to Pryor, Oklahoma. KMYZ-FM airs a modern rock format branded as “Z104.5 The Edge”. KMYZ-FM signed on the air in 1969 as KKMJ-FM, a Country Music station located in downtown Pryor Oklahoma. In the late 70’s, the country format was dropped for album rock. KMYZ-FM later evolved into a straight ahead Rock presentation.
KGOU
Norman, OK
KGOU was originally licensed as a commercial rock music station to the University of Oklahoma in 1970, broadcasting at 106.3 FM. OU applied for a non-commercial Class A license and switched the station’s format to NPR news and talk on New Year’s Day, 1983. Today, KGOU is one of two stations serving the Oklahoma City area with NPR programming.

Rock 100.5 the Legendary KATT radio station, signed on full-time in September of 1976 even though some broadcasts date back to 1975 under the call letters of KJAK. The format of the KATT at the time was “album oriented rock”. Today it is considered “Active Rock”.

KHTT was originally KMMM, and it was also known as “K-Triple M” (the three Ms in its call letters, which also stood for “Muskogee’s Music Machine”) and at times it was called “K-107.”

KJYO, known as “KJ 103”, is a Top 40 (CHR) radio station serving the Oklahoma City area and is owned by Clear Channel Communications. Its transmitter is located in Oklahoma City. The station began broadcasting by 1964 as KJEM and adopted an adult standards format. Studios were located where the Oklahoma City Federal Building (Murrah Building) once stood. It changed calls in 1974 to KAFG and ran an automated oldies format. In late 2007 KJYO-HD2 was launched with a New Music format.
