Fantasy Trail

Vista House

Corbett, OR

Vista House is recognized for being one of the most beautiful scenic points on the Historic Columbia River Highway. The place was built in 1917 and is currently offering educational exhibits and displays relating to the building as well. Vista House can also be a place for travelers to rest and refresh.

Oregon Zoo

Portland, OR

The 64-acre Oregon Zoo is located in Portland, a city and surrounding metropolitan area of more than 1.5 million people. The zoo has five major exhibit areas: Great Northwest, Fragile Forests, Asia, Pacific Shores and Africa. Within these large areas are 23 specialized exhibits.

Portland Art Museum

Founded in late 1892, the Portland Art Museum is the seventh oldest museum in the United States and the oldest in the Pacific Northwest. The Museum is internationally recognized for its permanent collection and ambitious special exhibitions, drawn from the Museum’s holdings and the world’s finest public and private collections. The Museum’s collection of more than 42,000 objects, displayed in 112,000 square feet of galleries, reflects the history of art from ancient times to today. The collection is distinguished for its holdings of art of the native peoples of North America, English silver, and the graphic arts. An active collecting institution dedicated to preserving great art for the enrichment of future generations, the Museum devotes 90 percent of its gallery space to its permanent collection.

Portland, OR

The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, is a science and technology museum in Portland, Oregon. It contains three auditoriums, including a large-screen theater, planetarium, and exhibition halls with a variety of hands-on permanent exhibits focused on natural sciences, industry, and technology. Transient exhibits span a wider range of disciplines.
