WGKX (105.9 FM, “Kix 106”) is a country music formatted radio station in Memphis, Tennessee. It is owned by Cumulus Media. Duane Shannon and Abby Summers, known as Duane and Abby, previously on WOGT Chattanooga, replaced Brian Elder and Jay Young in the morning late in 2010. Duane and Abby are one of the few married morning teams.

The station is currently owned by Horne Radio.
WBRY FM
Woodbury, TN
WBRY (1540 AM) was a radio station broadcasting a country music format. Licensed to Woodbury, Tennessee, USA, the station was owned by Volunteer Broadcasting, LLC and featured programming from Citadel Broadcasting. WBRY’s facility record on the FCC website has been deleted. As a result the license has been cancelled. A new construction permit would have to be granted to return the station to the air.

Its broadcast area reaches into southeastern Kentucky, southwestern Virginia, western North Carolina, north Georgia and far northwest South Carolina. WQRV (100.3 FM, “100.3 The River”) is a classic hits-formatted radio station serving the Huntsville, Alabama, market, which includes counties in northern Alabama and southern central Tennessee. This station had been WVNA-FM since 1962 before becoming country music formatted WLAY-FM on March 30, 2000. This lasted until a 2006 change to match a format and positioning change to “The River.” The station was assigned the WQRV call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on March 10, 2006.

WOGT (107.9 FM) is a radio station serving the Chattanooga, Tennessee, area with a classic hits format. It is under ownership of Cumulus Media. Until it became a country music station called “107.9 The Duke” on July 29, 2005, the station had an oldies format known as “GT 108” that later changed to “Oldies 107.9” then back to GT 108. Before that it was known as WJRX and played Contemporary Christian music under the name “RX 107”. On November 24, 2010 at 12 noon, WOGT changed their format to classic hits, branded as “Big 107.9”.

The station can be heard throughout southern east Tennessee, northwest Georgia (often down to northwest metro Atlanta, despite co-channel W222AF there), and most of northeast Alabama.
