Columbia City Bakery

Columbia City Bakery opened in 2005. The unique flavors and texture of their breads come from the use of natural starters, minimal commercial yeast, and a long, slow fermentation process. Their bread is now served in some of Seattle’s finest restaurants and they are proud that the bakery has become a busy, local gathering spot.

The philosophy of the bakery is to enhance both the natural products and the flavor of the various grains. The baked goods are created from Northwest apples, potatoes, cranberries and hazelnuts, as well as wheat, rye, barley and buckwheat flour. Macrina Casera, the house bread, was developed to be eaten at any meal, complementing all foods.

They’ve got the best baked goods in town. Everything is made from scratch the old fashioned way, using natural, whole ingredients. Ingredients that some people have forgotten about, such as real butter and eggs. Their pies are mostly made using fresh, seasonal fruit from local orchards. Their apple strudels are the best. Ice Cream Renaissance

Vancouver, WA

Ice Cream Renaissance is a dessert destination located in Vancouver, Washington. They proudly make all of their ice cream in house and are the winner of the 2009, 2010, and 2011 Best of Clark County Desserts. They serve scrumptious cookies, cakes, pies and desserts from Piece of Cake, Marsee Bakery, and Willamette Valley Fruit. Their coffee and espresso comes from the one and only Nossa Familia. They’re a great spot for date night, hanging out with friends, social events or picking up a take home treat.

Le Panier

Seattle, WA

Le Panier, created by Hubert Loevenbruck and a group of French bakers, opened its doors in 1983. They knew that Pike Place Market was the perfect location to share the authentic style of a classic boulangerie and patisserie with the people of Seattle. Along with these artisan bakers, Hubert brought French equipment and technology to help in the daily bread-making process.
