April Monroe joined Somers & Associates in 2006, at which time she already had more than a decade of practical experience in customer relations. She studied writing at the University of Alaska Fairbanks where she was recognized multiple times locally and nationally as a stand-out in her field of study. She has been a member of the Greater Fairbanks Board of Realtors since 2007, and 2011 GFBR Board President.
