Dr. Aberle decided to specialize in orthopedics because for him, it is a wonderful blend of technology and patient care. He completed a fellowship in sports medicine and shoulder surgery with the University of Colorado, Boulder, where he served as the assistant team physician for the University of Colorado Buffalos football team, and the Denver University hockey team.
