AKKA – Independence is part of Associated Kenpo Karate Academies, Kansas City’s largest professional martial arts organization, and has been serving Independence and the surrounding areas for over 30 years. They specialize in traditional martial arts instruction (Kenpo Karate), Self Defense, Fitness, Stress Relief, Character Development, Bully Prevention and Conflict Resolution. They are more than a karate school. They are an educational institution with a highly structured, curriculum based, program that engages their students in body, mind and spirit.
