J. G. Melon, open since 1972, known for its famously juicy hamburgers, cottage fries, and bloody Mary’s, developed a following from day one. This Upper East Side “saloon with food” has been serving a local and international crowd from stars and politicians to artists and writers and generations of families and friends.
